Thank you so much for the pictures! I sponsor a child (Adelvic de Mesa) who is in the Calvary Foursquare Church Student Center in Manila. He's 13, smart, and very special. These pictures and postings are helping me understand his way of life. Jeannie, if you come across him in your travels give him a big hug for me.

Hi, Jeannie!

Thank you for visiting the Philippines. I've been an avid listener of Air1 (and supporter) and I just want to say that it really touches my heart to see you picked the Philippines to visit and do missionary work. I grew up in the Philippines and was one of those young children who didn't have much...lived in a house with dirt floor, didn't even own any toys, and all my clothes were handed down from other relatives. However, at a very early age, I come to know the Lord and became fortunate from our Lord's wonderful blessings. I am now living in the states, but everytime I go home to the Philippines, it always pains me to see so many people living in poverty. Your visit means a lot to these people and your work leaves them hope and inspiration...thank you!!!!

I just heard you call in on the radio and I completely flipped! My college roommate's family are missionaries in the Philippines, more specifically in Cebu City. I just finished talking to her online when I heard you on the radio. She's told me a lot about the poverty and the need for people to help out. I have no doubt you've been an amazing blessing over there!!
